Hey gang!!
I’m happy to say that I’ve been doing well with both my exercise, and eating over the last two weeks. Previously I spoke about refocusing for the summer and I feel like I am doing a decent job. While it’s been too darn hot outside to run, (temps in the high 90’s with a gazillion % humidity and real feel temps of the 105’s), I’ve done T25 work out videos twice this week, and have been great about doing my planks/core work outs as well. I even did the T25 lower body workout yesterday, and I can’t help but to give credit to Novo Renew and the amazing all natural ingredients it contains to help muscle recovery and joint health. Six months ago, I would have never attempted lunges or squats!! Click the link to try it out, and use my code Michelle25 at checkout to save…buy two bottles and shipping is FREE!
My new job is going well so far! I had zero training, so every day is a new adventure. My biggest struggle has been that I am not used to a “desk” job, so getting my steps in every day is a struggle for the first time since I can remember. I’ve been short a couple thousand most days, so I need to work on that issue. But, I have been getting GREAT compliments on my Stitch Fix tops that I got last week, so I am already looking forward to next month’s fix!!! Click the link to check it out!!! You won’t be sorry – they’ve got such cute items tailored just for you!!
Lastly, I am still struggling with the loss of my pup, Sammy, 13 weeks ago. I think this week is extra hard as my husband is gone for Army training…:(

How are you all doing? How do you keep active during inclement weather? What is your favorite place to shop? (Mine is consignment shops!!)
Cheers,
Michelle
Sending you hugs. They become such a big part of your life. They enrich it so much. I dread to think what face I pull when I do the plank.

Thank you so much. Planking is hard but I find it really helps my core!!

It really does. Not sure I’ve come across an exercise which seems so easy yet is such a tester. Have you tried it with one foot raised or using a steeper. That was torture.

No but I’ll have to try that to test myself!!!

We have a really nice Marshalls quite close to us, but you have to hunt, for sure. Sometimes there’s nothing, sometimes there are great deals.
It’s not easy to get in your steps when you’re stuck at your desk! If I walk the dogs & run, I’m usually good. I usually get about 3k in the house just in the normal course of my day. Today is rainy, though, and while I was able to walk the dogs before the rain started (actually, we did get rained on a bit), I’m not running. I’m “running” rather low for steps, despite doing some grocery shopping too.
Hugs about Sammy. it’s just never easy. I hope that it is getting a little easier, though.

Oh I forgot about Marshall’s!! Great idea.
And thanks. I wouldn’t say it’s getting easier, but I’m getting used to the void.

Keep it up Michelle! When inclement weather keeps inside so I can’t walk, I crush some carbs on an indoor stationary bike.
