My name is Michelle and I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant.  After battling depression for many years, I have found a passion for running, cooking, writing, photography and all things that move my love for life! I’ve ran 3 full marathons, with a PR of 4:25, and 13 half marathons with a PR of 2:01. My latest goals are to focus on getting stronger and faster, and get to work on my e-cookbook. Welcome to my journey!

  1. Hi Michelle,
You won the sneakers in my blog giveaway!! Just email me your address (mustlovejogs@gmail.com) and I’ll put them in the mail ASAP! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  2. Running, cooking, writing and photography–a winning combination! Sub-2:00 half-marathon is a lofty goal, good luck but don’t stress. Completing 13.1 is an awesome accomplishment in itself. Have fun with your husband in his first half, and good luck to both of you. I have a sense he’ll be hooked once he crosses the finish line.

  3. Michelle, thanks for the recent follow. I love blogs that combined food and running topics and learn so much from them. The sub-2 hour 1/2 is achievable. I ran 1/2 marathons for about 20 years before I settled in and reached a sub 2-hour goal at age 64. Yours will be much earlier.

  4. Hi Michelle,

My name is Jennifer and I’ve been following your blog for several weeks now. I would like to commend you on the quality of your material and the success you’ve found in your community.

I work for Azumio, Inc., a mobile health company with numerous applications and millions of users, dedicated to connecting the public through the first social health network and database. Azumio has been responsible for some of the most innovative health and fitness apps. Our Argus and Instant Heart Rate apps have even been featured in Apple TV’s Strength and Powerful ads, respectively. Besides Nike, Azumio is the only other company featured in multiple Apple commercials. In addition, Azumio is one of the leading developers for Google Fit, a health-tracking platform developed for the Android operating system.

I am contacting you on behalf of Azumio because of your expertise and passion about running and nutrition, which are prime categories of interest for our 40 million users. We would like to offer you an opportunity to be a guest blogger for Azumio where you will be able to showcase your work to our mobile users and reach a new segment of readers apart from your current audience. This is a chance for you to not only expand your personal community rapidly but to make a real difference in the world of health.

If you are interested, please e-mail me at jennifer.ta@azumio.com and I will send you information as to what the job entails as well as information on the benefits of an Azumio partnership.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
