Hey gang! So I’ll admit, the hubby and I fell off the healthy eating wagon. Seems to be a vicious cycle with us, but we always bounce back. I’ve gained about 4-5 lbs back, and the hubby has gained everything he lost almost. So we’ve started back with routine exercise and more meal prepping for our meals during the week. Tonight after work/my workout, I baked some chicken, seasoned some precooked shrimp, roasted squash, and steamed some veggies. I also made a packet of our favorite brown rice/quinoa blend. Voila. Meals for the week!!








Question. Do you meal prep? How do you get your motivation back after falling off the wagon?

We had rain in the forecast today, so we decided to get up and get some errands done. We went to our favorite pub called the Fat Rabbit for lunch, and stopped in at my favorite consignment shop. There was a pair of sandals I’ve been eyeballing and they were still there so I got them!!

We went to the local running store and all got new shoes, and went to Sprouts for some produce.

The sun finally came out so we finished the day at the pool.

Tonight we went out with my friend Kandice to a Spanish tapas restaurant in Tampa. It was amazing. We left with fully bellies and happy hearts.

Happy Wednesday, my friends. I hope you all had a fantastic day! Just over a two mile run, and a good plank will finish up my day. It wasn’t a pretty run, but I ran intervals between 5.4-5.8 on the treadmill-averaging around 5.4-5.5. Building up that baseline, slowly but surely.

We took and extra day off to take care of some personal things around the house that are hard to do on the weekend, and managed to get several loads of laundry done, as well as some food prep for the week. While we are preparing for #hurricaneelsa I did manage to get a good core workout and my plank done. How was your day? Are you in Elsa’s path? Stay safe everyone!! 🌀🙌🏻🙏🏻
