tonight’s reminder and plank! This is so true, we need to see our beauty and love ourselves!! 🥰

Happy Wednesday, my friends. Don’t let this smile fool you…the run was hard from start to finish. My body wasn’t having it…knees hurt, ITB was screaming and even my Achilles started talking to me in a not so nice tone. Add on that it was 81 degrees with full sun, and yeah….cut it a mile short and plodded home. But two miles are better than no miles, right? Added it some free weights, core and my daily plank. Time for some much needed rest! How was your day, today? I’d love to hear about it

Happy Tuesday! Another crazy day, but managed to get a core workout and my plank done. For dinner we had roasted spaghetti squash, with Italian Turkey sausage sautéed with shallots, garlic, red pepper flakes and mushrooms with a no sugar added tomato sauce. Delish!
How was your day?

Normally I’d rest the day following a run, especially since I’m just getting back into the swing of things. But today my mental health needed to get outside after work,
and so I did. I normally would have just closed my eyes and taken a nap to try and sleep away a bad day. But not today. Today I did a 3.1 mile run/walk after work, light weights, and my daily plank.
I always feel better after a workout, how about you!?

Part of this is a repeat from Twitter, so sorry if you’re reading part of this twice lol.
Happy Sunday! I keep seeing a quote that really has been resonating with me lately. You’ll never change your life unless you change at least one thing you do daily. I really have been feeling a little stagnant lately, so decided to skip my normal lazy Sunday and get outside for a run. I ran the first two miles, and ran walked the second two for a total of four miles. That’s the longest I’ve ran in quite some time.
How was your Sunday? Do anything new or different?

Our family has lots of wonderful memories at Disney. It was the first time I remember flying as a kid when my parents took us there for our first big trip!! We had so much fun!! As an adult, I went to Disneyland back in 2004 when my husband returned from his first deployment and the memories will last a life time. We went to Disney World in 2012 as one of our first “real” family vacations, and again made countless memories. But I think the trip in 2017 is what sealed the deal that Disney would always be a happy place of ours. We went after my husband returned from his second deployment, and it helped heal a lot of wounds that had been festering for the previous 2 years prior.
Long story short, one of the many reasons we decided to move to Florida was to be closer to Disney. It’s not just for kids, I tell you! The parks have things for all ages, and the festivals at Epcot are something we truly enjoy.
We had annual passes for the first two years we lived here and frequented the parks quite often. Then COVID hit and we decided to let our passes go. Sooooo, last month we finally renewed them and today was our first visit back.
Here’s some pics from our day.

Have you ever been to Disney?

Thanks to all that sent up prayers for my Mother in law-please keep them coming. We’re awaiting results still from the biopsy they found-more to follow.
