Happy Wednesday, my friends. Don’t let this smile fool you…the run was hard from start to finish. My body wasn’t having it…knees hurt, ITB was screaming and even my Achilles started talking to me in a not so nice tone. Add on that it was 81 degrees with full sun, and yeah….cut it a mile short and plodded home. But two miles are better than no miles, right? Added it some free weights, core and my daily plank. Time for some much needed rest! How was your day, today? I’d love to hear about it

And yet, you’re smiling.

Listen to your body, Michelle. Your mind will tell you to keep pushing. It is the military in us. Once my knees went they never came back. I wish I had listened to mine. I would love to go on a nice run.

You’re right….my poor knees, not sure how many years I’ve got left so I have been very ginger with them. I have a half marathon in February and have plans to walk as much of it as I need to.

I am love, thank you!! I’ve been teaching spin classes and back to running a little. Being on the bike loosens up my legs so I’m not sitting around getting stiff and being lazy lol. Motion is lotion! Have a good one.
