Normally I’d rest the day following a run, especially since I’m just getting back into the swing of things. But today my mental health needed to get outside after work,
and so I did. I normally would have just closed my eyes and taken a nap to try and sleep away a bad day. But not today. Today I did a 3.1 mile run/walk after work, light weights, and my daily plank.
I always feel better after a workout, how about you!?
My name is Michelle and I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. I have found a passion for running, cooking, writing, photography and all things that move my love for life! I've ran 3 full marathons, with a PR of 4:25, and 17 half marathons with a PR of 2:00:11 (yup-missed sub 2 by 11 seconds, lol). Thanks for joining me on my journey!

I certainly do, but my schedule today didn’t allow for one, After the owners meet and greet I have the rest of the day to walk the beach. 😊

Love the heron photo!
Most of the time I feel better after a workout, but I have been known to push myself a bit too much too. Things change as you get older!
