Running, Recipes, and Real life adventures!

Apologies for my absence. It’s been the best weekend ever, celebrating my friends and my birthday. The last couple years have robbed us of so many social experiences, so we felt wonderful to safely celebrate with friends. I still wear my mask in crowds, wash my hands extra and use sanitizer, often. But I can’t stop living my life. It really effects me mentally to be isolated. Here’s a few pictures from the weekend.

Cheers to 49! May it be my best year yet. Xo

Happy Wednesday!! My appt after work got cancelled last minute, so decided to take advantage of our cooler weather. Pushed myself for this one, trying to get my endurance and pace back on track. Quite pleased with the negative splits. Added 125 sit-ups and my daily plank to finish up the day. How was your day?

It’s been a busy few weeks at work, so it’s been nice to get outside after I “clock out” so to speak. I’m working from home/teleworking 50-50% of the time.
We got three walking miles and my daily plank in after work.
How was your day?

Happy Monday! We got outside for 3.2 miles after work today. It’s rather warm out, so we did take a few walk breaks. Also knocked out my daily plank. How was your day?!

Today we spent the day at the beach, Pass-A-Grille never disappoints. Someday we hope to live closer, waiting on that winning lottery ticket.

I was blessed with an evening spent with one of my dearest friend. This inspired me.

I finally got a few hours of sleep last night, so I enjoyed a slow 2 mile run/1.2 mile run/walk with my daughter after work.
We’re signed up to run a half marathon the end of February and will more than likely be run/walking it.
Haven’t felt myself lately, and getting outside always makes me feel better.
How was your day? Any moving?
