Simple stir fry

In efforts to save money and lose weight, we’ve been really good about cooking most of our meals at home.

Stir fry without the rice made for a yummy dinner tonight!! Marinated the chicken in soy, ginger, sesame seeds/oil, peppercorns, red pepper flakes, garlic and lime zest/juice.
Served with Bok choy, onions, garlic and peppers. Yum!!

Treat meal

We’ve been eating healthier in efforts to lose weight before we turn 50, so my cooking/recipe posts have been rare.

Tonight we had a treat meal, pan seared steaks in the cast iron with butter, garlic and thyme. So goooood. I also roasted some yummy sweet potatoes.

Cast iron steaks are the best.
Dinner is served!!!
