Monday motivation

I won’t lie. I feel like I am back to square one, or even a little further back since getting sick two months ago. I don’t ever recall running a short run at a 12mm+ pace. And every time I had to walk, it set me back a little further mentally.
But I’m not getting any younger, and I’m at least out there moving. That counts for something, right?!

  1. Being out there moving is always a great thing! I always just tell myself when I don’t ‘feel like running’ is to just get out there for the medicinal purpose of getting some Vitamin D/sunshine. Even if I grow tired during the run it is just relentless forward motion. It always feels good that I did something for my body mind and spirit when I am done.

  2. You are doing great. I know it is hard, but try to not focus on pace. Like you said, at least you are out there moving and the more miles you put on your legs, the faster you will be. You’ll get there. I have faith. You did great with the plank.
