Busy week

Broke my streak again, but it’s ok, I didn’t have a lot of time to write. Crazy busy at work, added duties I don’t have time for, and a thankfully successful inspection at work wrapped up my week. Despite being still fatigued I am excited to see my family this weekend so we spent the evening packing.

Tomorrow will be my first time traveling in almost two years. I’m anxious to say the least but praying it goes smoothly.

Chicago will always be home no matter how much we love Florida and we can’t wait to spend time with friends and family.

Throwback Thursday->today

Nine years ago today, I became an official marathoner!! Thanks to my amazing sister for sharing this memory with me! It wasn’t easy but we tackled 26.2 miles of running together!! We finished in 5 hours and 23 minutes. One of my proudest moments in my life.

And fast forward to today. Where running just shy of two miles was hard. First run in over a month, but ya gotta start somewhere, right?

Lazy like Sunday-afternoon? Lol

Happy Sunday! I have finally been able to sleep the last couple of nights, so I allowed myself to sleep in a little extra. Cuz if we don’t take care of ourselves, who will?

Today we had a lovely lazy day by the pool, and praying for a great week ahead. How was your weekend?

I love October!! I definitely miss the Fall in the Midwest, but our humidity is dropping and it feels lovely!!
I had a little setback today but some Benedryl and a nap definitely helped.
Today is my two year anniversary of daily planks!!
