Happy Friday!!! Today is a special day. It marks the 11th anniversary of my Air Force retirement. It’s always a bittersweet day for me, I’ll be honest. But I do believe I’m finally where I’m meant to be, and for that I am truly thankful. Today was a nice and easy workout of core, light weights and my plank. I decided to exercise my brain and unplug and read for a couple hours instead. How about you?
My name is Michelle and I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. I have found a passion for running, cooking, writing, photography and all things that move my love for life! I've ran 3 full marathons, with a PR of 4:25, and 17 half marathons with a PR of 2:00:11 (yup-missed sub 2 by 11 seconds, lol). Thanks for joining me on my journey!

Okay this is why I like you! I was in the Army.
What makes it bitter sweet for you? Did you want to serve longer?
