My only thought – is to understand that everyone has a different ‘bucket’ … their ability / concept of available time might be different than yours. That said, if you are constantly finding yourself feeling like an afterthought … time to care for yourself and cut your losses!

Yes I have. I stopped putting in all the effort. It was tough to lose the friend, but at least I no longer felt like I was always “bugging” the person
