Movin' it with Michelle

My daughter had a birthday party to attend in Tampa today which is about 40 minutes from our house. We had a blast and had dinner and Spain Restaurant and Toma bar and then took her to the party. We spent the evening walking the river walk and got some lovely photos.

Happy Monday friends!! I got a good two mile hill interval walk in after work, along with over 120 sit-ups! New goal is to move every day! Who’s with me?!

The rain held off today so we were able to get a couple hours of sun at the pool and went for an early dinner at a new place called Hungry Crab. It was messy but soooo good!!! Hope y’all had a great weekend.

We had quite a bit of rain today but managed to get a lovely afternoon break. We went to Tampa for lunch at one of our favorite places, and a photo shoot with my youngest. Both my daughters take my breath away. ❤️

Todays throwback Thursday:

10 years ago today I ran a strong half marathon with a finish time of 2:11.

I miss how strong I used to be, but am embracing the fact that as we get older we can’t always do all the things we used to be able to. But I’ll keep moving forward, regardless. 🏃🏻‍♀️❤️

Thanks to everyone who reached out-thankfully I’m feeling a little better today!! I did a quick workout of free weights and core and decided to skip cardio. Seems as I get older it takes longer to recover from things, lol.

I’ve been a little absent lately. This time of year is always rough with migraines due to the barometric pressure changes. But this too shall pass.

Sometimes our bodies just need some extra rest. Took a sick day today to rest from a nasty sinus migraine.
