I’ll be honest, I haven’t been getting my cardio workouts in for almost a month. While I’ve kept up with weights and yoga stretches, I’ve been too exhausted between menopause and work to put in any effort after work.
But it’s mentally important to me to keep going. My “therapy” was my dog (who I lost 3 1/2 years ago), and running/walking. Take away both and this girl is a hot mess.
So I took it to the treadmill after work for a short 1.8 mile walk. Baby steps, right?
My point? We’re all struggling in one way or another. So do what you can, even if it’s just spreading love, kindness and motivation through random little memes, or walking after work to clear your mind. Every little bit helps. 🙏🏻
