Happy to report that we finished strong, despite a few hiccups near the end. Our final finish time was 2:41:05, with the first half finishing at a 12:23 pace and the second half at a 12:18 pace!! Not bad for our first real race in three years, and my daughter’s first half!! I’ll do my plank later, I promise lol. Thanks for all the love and support!!!
My name is Michelle and I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. I have found a passion for running, cooking, writing, photography and all things that move my love for life! I've ran 3 full marathons, with a PR of 4:25, and 17 half marathons with a PR of 2:00:11 (yup-missed sub 2 by 11 seconds, lol). Thanks for joining me on my journey!

Congrats to you, your hubby, and your daughter on completing the Gaspirilla Half Marathon! That’s awesome!
Nice! I can’t wait to run some races with my kids – they are tiny now, and only done a 750m race so far. Have a 2km fun run in June to look forward to. Hope they still want to run with me when they are teenagers!
