Nine years ago today, I became an official marathoner!! Thanks to my amazing sister for sharing this memory with me! It wasn’t easy but we tackled 26.2 miles of running together!! We finished in 5 hours and 23 minutes. One of my proudest moments in my life.
And fast forward to today. Where running just shy of two miles was hard. First run in over a month, but ya gotta start somewhere, right?

Bravo to you! I can’t imagine running a marathon. I used to run 5ks, but it has been a few years.

It would probably take me two hours to run a 5k. 😆

Technically you could walk a 5k in an hour at a normal pace lol.

Great job on your marathon 9 years ago. That was a great pace and I’m sure made more special sharing it with your sister. And, great job on the two miles today! You had to start somewhere 9 years ago too. You know you can do whatever you really want to accomplish if you set your mind to it.
