To answer your question, which is probably metaphorical, I would hope it is because you know that those who are close to you will love you unconditionally, so that you can be yourself. You always try to put your best foot forward for those you do not know as well.

Actually you are right ,but I think as our close people always do care for us so we take them casually and don’t give more value them but we try to impress strengers as they are unknown to us. Well written ππ
