I’ve really been struggling with being middle aged lately. While I’m happy and confident with who I am, finally, I really miss the young, adventurous, wild and fun young women I once was. I found this quote and it really hit home.

More to follow…
Cheers!

My name is Michelle and I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. I have found a passion for running, cooking, writing, photography and all things that move my love for life! I've ran 3 full marathons, with a PR of 4:25, and 17 half marathons with a PR of 2:00:11 (yup-missed sub 2 by 11 seconds, lol). Thanks for joining me on my journey!

Good poem. That’s what makes up all of us I think.
I don’t struggle with middle age, really, but I do wish sometimes I could go back. Not so much to do things differently but to do some things again.
Seemed like I was coasting along then, all of the sudden, my AF career was behind me and my kids were all out of high school.

Thanks! I’ve still got one child at home. One is in college. Crazy.
