The family that cooks and Hurricane preps together, stays together. I’ve not been myself lately, I’ll admit it. Thankfully I’ve got my family and hobbies to fall back on. I made a delicious pork roast today, cooked it low and slow for 4+ hours at 250 degrees. Sides of yellow cauliflower purée, and savory sweet potatoes finished with bacon salt (yes, that’s a real thing) and micro greens. Dinner is served!
We also spent a good hour after work prepping the house for Hurricane Ian. We’re as ready as we’ll ever be!!

Well, happy hunkering to you and yours, Michelle.

Husband just loaded bags of mulch against door and garage door. We are not in South Tampa near water and I believe we are ready, mostly. Take care. Garden items are hankered down.

Which part of Florida are you at again? We’re north of Tampa.
